Plant and Pet Stuff Sale - MAY 28, 2022 - ***NOTE CHANGE OF DATE***

It's time again for the BENCHS' Annual Plant Sale! Spring is finally here and the plants are coming up for another growing season. Time to split your overgrown plants and donate them to the sale! Time to buy some new plants to add new life to your garden! This year’s sale will be May 28th at BENCHS. be sure to stop by BENCHS and look through the plant donations. We always have a great selection for our returning customers. All proceeds go to caring for the animals at BENCHS. Social distancing practices will be followed. Please wear a mask.

If you are interested in volunteering for the sale to do set up, work the day of the sale or do tear down just send an email to info@benchs.org.

Plant Donations Needed

If your garden is overflowing with plants that need splitting or thinning out, we can help by accepting plant donations for the sale. 

​We are in need of all varieties of plants- 

Shade Plants - hostas, bleeding hearts, astilbes, etc.
Ground Cover - laminum, snow on the mountain, vinca, etc.
Sunny Plants- coreopsis, mums, coneflowers, yarrow, dianthus, cranebills, coral bells, black eyed susans, phlox, iris, peonies, salvia, veronica, grasses, hen and chicks, etc. 
Vegetables – tomatoes, peppers, herbs, etc. 
House Plants and so on and so on. 

If you are need of pots – stop by the shelter and we will have some sitting outside by the walking path for you to pick up. 

You can drop off your plants beginning May 20th. They can be placed by the entrance to the walking path. Please write the name of the donated plant on the bag or container to help us identify it. And add the flower color as needed.

Got a pet who needs microchipping?
Make an appointment to bring him or her along to our Microchipping Clinic
