Spaying & Neutering your pet is an important part of keeping your pet healthy and it helps to maintain a long life. It improves your pet’s mood and behavior because they no longer have the stress associated with being in heat, and they are not trying to attract a mate. Therefore, they are less likely to mark their territory, especially if they are spayed or neutered while young. Most importantly, it prevents many unwanted litters. Those little guys might be cute but they are a lot of work, and every day there are more than 70,000 puppies and kittens born in the United States – too many of which become homeless strays living on the streets or end up in shelters.
